As of the Fall of 2025, many artifacts and exhibits have found new homes throughout the Wakaw business community. This means that residents and visitors to Wakaw and the many businesses can enjoy the artifacts year-round through this “Living Museum” concept.
The former Wakaw Heritage Museum was housed in the former Wakaw School, located on the corner of 1st Street South and 3rd Avenue in Wakaw.
The Diefenbaker Law Office remains at this location for the time being, as does the old Bonne Madone school house. Plans are in the works for the future locations and opportunities for visiting these structures.
The Wakaw Heritage Museum is permanently closed.
Thank-you to all previous members of the Wakaw Heritage Museum Board for their work over the years.
